Kevin M. Liga

 

A 29 year veteran of the Television and Telecommunications industries, Kevin currently serves as President and Founder of Digital Entertainment Group, Inc.

 

Digital Entertainment Group is a New Media services consultancy set-up to inform and execute on behalf of it’s clients desire to participate in the New Media marketplace within opportunities such as Digital TV, the Internet, wireless and mobile device content and marketing, Podcasts, Satellite Radio, iTV.

 

Prior to founding DEG, Kevin served as SVP of Programming and Advertising for OpenTV (a Liberty Media Co.). There he managed OpenTV’s relationship with NASCAR and developed technology and services for OpenTV’s Advertising Services Group.

 

Prior to OpenTV, Kevin served as EVP CTO of ACTV, Inc. While at ACTV, Kevin also acted as CEO and Founder of SpotOn a JV between ACTV, Motorola and OpenTV. Where his team developed the first commercially available addressable TV advertising platform for the home.

 

Prior to joining ACTV Kevin was President of CAI wireless Internet, where he pioneered the use of high speed data over wireless spectrum.

 

He has also worked at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), Tele-Communications Inc, and United Artists Entertainment, where he built and ran TV subscription business in many capacities.

 

Kevin is a member of the Academy of Arts and Sciences and The National Academy of Arts and Sciences. He has received numerous industry honors for his work including an Emmy for “Outstanding Achievement in Sports TV” Kevin has also contributed to many Issued and Pending U.S. Patents.
